ROCK ISLAND COUNTY, IL – A three-truck crash in Rock Island County claimed the lives of two men Friday, KWQC reported.
The collision happened around 10 pm on Interstate 280. For reasons unknown, the driver of a 2017 Black Chevrolet Truck stopped their vehicle. This caused a 2020 White Ford Truck to collide with the Chevrolet Truck. In addition, a 2015 Silver GMC Truck struck the Ford truck.
The two people from the silver GMC truck were hospitalized for minor injuries. The two drivers from the other trucks were taken to a hospital, where they died from their injuries.
Illinois State Police are investigating the details of Friday’s crash.
