One dead, one injured from two-vehicle crash in Oak Forest

OAK FOREST, IL – A two-car crash in Oak Forest claimed one person’s life Wednesday morning, ABC 7 Chicago reported. 

The collision occurred at 159th Street and Cicero Avenue before 1 a.m. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered that one was injured and another had died. 

The injured person was hospitalized and is in stable condition, according to police. 

The identity of the person who died has not been released yet. 

The crash is under investigation by the Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team and the Oak Forest Police Department.
