One person was seriously hurt following a pin-in crash on I-55 near mile marker 9 in Collinsville before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5th. Illinois State Police said the driver of Traffic Unit 1 collided with Traffic Unit 2 and then became trapped inside his or her vehicle. The driver of Traffic Unit 1 was extricated and sent to a hospital for serious injuries. No additional details about the collision are available.
