ROCKTON, IL – One person was killed in a head-on collision on the 5300 block of Freeport Road that resulted in one of the cars landing on its hood and the other catching fire around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The driver of the overturned car suffered fatal injuries. Medics conducted life-saving measures on the driver of the fiery car.
