SALEM, IL – A 39-year-old man was injured while he was riding his bicycle several inches inside a white lane and was struck by a car before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. This collision took place on the 3700 block of Selmaville Road. The driver – 76-year-old John Dietrich of Baldwin, Missouri – was unharmed. The cyclist – Elliot Edwards – sustained minor injuries, but declined to be taken to a hospital.
