NAPERVILLE, IL – A single-vehicle crash injured one and claimed the life of another in Naperville Thursday morning, CBS News reported.  The crash occurred before 4:30 am on Commons Road. Speed could have contributed to Thursday’s crash, as the 2016 black Audi A6 was traveling at a high rate.   The Audi traveled off course and collided with a tree.  The passenger, a 25-year-old adult, was hospitalized for critical injuries. Their current condition is unknown.  The driver, a 19-year-old adult, succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.  At the time of reporting, the area was closed.  

COLES COUNTY, IL – An 81-year-old man succumbed to his injuries and died after a three-vehicle crash in Des Plaines Tuesday.  The collision occurred on Route 45 before 3 pm.  The 81-year-old man, Gary Phillips, wanted to pass a tractor hauling grain wagons in a no-pass lane.  Phillps saw another car coming head-on and then put the vehicle in reserve to get to his lane. As a result, he hit the tractor tire.  It is unclear if the tractor driver and the driver of the other vehicle were injured.  Phillips was taken to a hospital, where he died.  No further

WHITESIDE COUNTY, IL – Three men were left dead in a single rollover crash in Rock Falls Saturday, NRG Media Dixon reported.  The collision occurred around 11 pm at Prophetstown Road. For reasons unknown, the driver of a Dodge Charger lost control of the vehicle, traveled off course, and crashed into a ditch before overturning.  All three men succumbed to their injuries and died.  Were you involved in a car accident that led to fatalities or injuries? WINNEBAGO COUNTY, IL – A crash involving a bus and a car left a 20-year-old man dead Monday near Winnebago.  The collision occurred on the eastbound lanes of U.S. Route 20 around 7 am, WIFR revealed.  A driver of a gray 2014 Chevrolet Cruze failed to stop for the bus’ flashing lights and ended up hitting the rear of the bus.  The bus driver was unharmed.  The driver of the Chevrolet, a 17-year-old teenager, was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.   The front seat passenger from the Chevrolet succumbed to his injuries and died.  If you were involved in a car accident

ROCK ISLAND COUNTY, IL – A three-truck crash in Rock Island County claimed the lives of two men Friday, KWQC reported.  The collision happened around 10 pm on Interstate 280. For reasons unknown, the driver of a 2017 Black Chevrolet Truck stopped their vehicle. This caused a 2020 White Ford Truck to collide with the Chevrolet Truck. In addition, a 2015 Silver GMC Truck struck the Ford truck.  The two people from the silver GMC truck were hospitalized for minor injuries. The two drivers from the other trucks were taken to a hospital, where they died from their injuries.  Illinois

ST CLAIR COUNTY, IL – A three-car crash injured one person and left another one dead Thursday outside of Paderborn.  The collision occurred at Floraville Road and Loeher Road, KMOV 4 reported.  For reasons unknown, two Ford Escapes and a Hyundai Elantra collided with one another.  The driver of the Hyundai Elantra was hospitalized for unspecified injuries.  If you were injured in a crash caused by another person, a copy of your Illinois accident report could make it easier to file a claim with your insurance company or pursue a lawsuit against the at-fault driver. MINOOKA, IL – A 52-year-old man’s life was claimed in a truck-car crash in Minooka Wednesday.  The collision occurred before 2:30 am on the southbound lanes of I-55, WCSJ News reported. A semi-truck stopped because of construction.
