Car crash kills 2 people in Romeoville

ROMEOVILLE, IL – A car crash took two lives Friday at 5:22 pm, WJOL reported

The crash occurred on Route 53 and University Parkway near Lewis University. According to the Will County Corner’s Office, the two victims were 55-year-old Gustavo A. Loustaunau Orosa of Braidwood and 46-year-old Ali Jabali of Joliet. Police officials pronounced them dead at the scene. As a result, The Patch, also reported closure for several hours between the northbound and southbound lanes between Renwick Road and Airport Road until about 9pm.

The Romeoville Police Department is evaluating details from Friday’s crash. The cause of death and additional information will follow once reports are available.
