Narrative
A crash between two UTVs left three injured and one dead Sunday, April 9th, in Quincy. The collision took place in the area of 167 North 2400th Avenue before 7 p.m. According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, no one wore seatbelts or protective gear. Upon colliding, both occupants of Traffic Unit 1 – the driver, a 26-year-old man, and a passenger, a 20-year-old woman – were thrown from the vehicle. The 20-year-old woman, along with the occupants of Traffic Unit 2, the driver – a 27-year-old man – and the passenger – a 25-year-old woman – sustained minor injuries. The people from Traffic Unit 2 were treated on-site, while the 20-year-old woman from Traffic Unit 1 was taken to the hospital. The 26-year-old man was also sent to a hospital; however, he succumbed to fatal injuries. Additional details are under investigation.
