Narrative
LUKA, IL – Two drivers were injured in a two-vehicle collision at the U.S. 50 and Omega Road intersection before noon Thursday. Marion County deputies said 61-year-old Raymond Reynolds, of Newton, was driving east on U.S. 50, and 49-year-old Michael Henson, a luka resident, was about to turn left into his driveway. Reynolds had just passed another vehicle and could not stop in time to avoid striking Henson’s car. As a result, Reynold’s vehicle struck the front side of Henson’s automobile. Both men sustained unspecified injuries and declined to be taken to hospitals.
