TUSCOLA, IL – A two-vehicle collision on I-57 near Tuscola was prompted when a driver of a silver Toyota hit a deer and became disabled, and came to rest on the left side of the road around 5 a.m. Wednesday. Then a driver of a semi-truck then hit a guardrail and caught on fire. It is unclear if the drivers were hurt. The northbound lanes were shut down, and the southbound lane was reduced to one lane.
