Two people were hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash with a pole at the intersection of Rand Road and Dundee Road in Palatine after 5 a.m. on Monday, May 8th. It is unclear why the driver lost control of the vehicle before colliding with a pole. Both occupants – the driver and passenger – were transported to nearby hospitals: Lutheran General Hospital and Northwest Community Hospital.
