Narrative

Seven were injured after a single-vehicle crash on westbound I-70 in Clark County before 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 30th. According to Illinois State Police, the driver of Traffic Unit 1 tried to brake when a commercial vehicle changed lanes in front of her. As a result, she lost control of her car, which traveled off course to the right of the road, crashed into a barrier, and rolled over. The driver, a 27-year-old woman, and the five children with her sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The front seat passenger, a 33-year-old man, suffered severe, life-threatening injuries.
