Narrative
Six were injured, and two were left dead after a head-on crash on Illinois Route 23 in DeKalb County before 8 a.m. on Monday, November 28th. Police said the driver of Traffic Unit 1 went over a center line and hit Traffic Unit 2. The driver of Traffic Unit 3 then collided with Traffic Unit 2, attempting to avoid the previous collision. The driver of Traffic Unit 3 was treated at the scene and released. The two occupants from Traffic Unit 2 succumbed to fatal injuries. Others were taken to a hospital. The names of those who died have not been released yet.
