Man, 52, dies in semi-truck, car crash in Minooka

MINOOKA, IL – A 52-year-old man’s life was claimed in a truck-car crash in Minooka Wednesday. 

The collision occurred before 2:30 am on the southbound lanes of I-55, WCSJ News reported. A semi-truck stopped because of construction. Then, shortly after, a car struck the semi-truck. 

No injuries were reported for 36-year-old Yu Fan, the semi-truck driver. 

The driver of the car, Maurice Burkley, succumbed to his injuries and died.
