Driver, 89, hits several people at Chicago Forest Preserve

CHICAGO, IL – An 89-year-old woman injured several people with her car at the Schiller Woods Forest Preserve Sunday evening. 

 ABC 7 Chicago said the collision occurred near Irving Park Road and Cumberland Avenue. The Chicago Fire Department said six adults, including the 89-year-old woman, suffered injuries and were transported to local hospitals.

The names of the victims, the driver, and details regarding the cause of the crash have not been released. The Cook County Sheriff’s Office and the Cook County Forest Preserve are investigating this case.
